Xiaomi Mi Curved GL 34″
If you’re a gamer, you’ll know that monitor size matters as much as resolution. We were looking for large monitors so you can enjoy your favorite games to the fullest. The first of the options and which would be our favorite if we had to choose one, is this 34-inch Xiaomi monitor.
This Xiaomi monitor has a 34-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 3440×140 pixels. We are talking about a 21:9 format monitor, being of the ultra panoramic type. This monitor gives us a 1500R bend, which is not bad for gaming. In addition, this monitor offers us 121% sRGB color coverage, to offer more intense colors.
For games, the refresh rate is very important, almost more than the resolution. This monitor gives us a 144Hz refresh rate
The truth is that this monitor is a very good option, since it has excellent characteristics. Moreover, even the connectivity is excellent, with two HDMI 2.0 and two DisplayPort 1.4.
Lenovo L32p-30
There are countless options on the market designed for all types of use. Some, as is the case with this monitor, include a webcam for making video calls and even, stream. Although this Lenovo monitor is not the typical one designed for gaming, it is a very interesting option if you want to start on Twitch.
This monitor gives us a 31.5 inch IPS panel with a Resolution 3840×2160 pixelscome on, it’s a 4K monitor. This monitor has a 16:9 aspect ratio, slightly lower than the Xiaomi monitor. The color coverage is 90% DCI-P3, which is much lower than the previous case.
Perhaps the worst thing about this monitor is the refresh rate, which is limited to just 60Hz. Although it offers support for AMD FreeSync,
Where this monitor stands out is the built-in webcam with a 90-degree viewing angle and 1080p resolution. If we are going to stream, then implementing a webcam is already something interesting. The connection is not bad, since it has an HDMI and a DisplayPort, as well as a USB-C Gen1 and four USB 3.2 Gen1. Either way, playing it wouldn’t be our choice.
MSI Optix MPG321QRF-QD 32″
Continuing in the line of large format monitors, we have this one designed by MSI, which measures 32 inches. The truth is that it has interesting aspects, but its price makes it prohibitive. In fact, if we analyze the characteristics, it differs little from the Xiaomi monitor.
We start with the panel type, which is a IPS-type with Quantum Dot technology, which delivers more accurate colors. Thanks to this technology, we have a 144% sRGB color coverage, which is more than interesting. It also offers support for HDR 600 display and includes a solution called “night vision” to highlight dark areas. When you need to supplement your monitor with something that “brightens” dark areas, that’s bad.
Does this monitor have a 1440p resolution and a 16:9 aspect resolution, so it’s just a widescreen monitor, nothing more. This monitor gives us the technology NVIDIA G-Sync compatible, which is almost like saying that it offers support for AMD FreeSync. There really is no difference in this regard. It incorporates two HDMI 2.0b and a Display Port 1.4, as well as three USB-A.
The truth is that it has a rather high price and is worthless in our opinion. The Xiaomi monitor has a much more adjusted price and offers very good features.
