Arduino boards have become very popular since their launch for two reasons: a wide range of possibilities and low cost. It encourages many people to investigate with them and create awesome things. Now you can also do it for much less thanks to the Arduino Starter Kit at 94 dollars (19% reduction) when its price is 116 dollars.
This official kit includes the Arduino UNO board, which is the most commonly used. In addition, we have a connection card and a USB cable to connect it to the computer. It also has cables, a servo motor, a cable to connect a 9 volt battery, a temperature sensor, inclination, buttons, resistors, an LCD screen and much more.
Something very interesting about this kit is that a 176-page project manual is included. Thanks to this book we will learn to use all these elements and also to program the board. With all that we will learn, later we can let our imaginations run wild.
You might be interested in the Arduino Micro development board for 23 dollars (13% discount). It is a much reduced version of the UNO, with fewer pins and more “simple” in terms of memory and power. It focuses on small projects, miniaturization solutions such as light sensor, irrigation monitoring and similar projects.
Note that this version is the one that already includes the connection heads, other models have them independent. We can put it on the board and explore the same projects as before, but for a practical purpose. This means that we have already created the project with a goal.
Other interesting options that we can acquire
The official starter kit is fine, but there are more complete and cheaper alternatives. An example is the ELEGOO Medium Kit for 46 dollars (10% discount). The advantage of this one is that it has a lot more stuff than the previous one.
It stands out above all for the inclusion of a much larger tray, which allows us to develop more things. It also includes a smoke sensor, remote control, joystick and other elements to create different projects.
If that’s not enough for you and you want more, you have the ELEGOO Complete Kit for 72 dollars. Basically, it is a version on steroids of the previous model, much more complete. It includes several potentiometers, an NFC system, two motors and a stepper motor, a motion sensor and many other elements.
The complete kit is very good, but some sensors are still missing. If you want everything, to create everything you can imagine, we offer you the ELEGOO 37-in-1 kit for 36 dollars. Here we have a sensor kit only, as it is assumed that you have an Arduino board and are now looking to create new, more advanced projects.
We can highlight the flame sensor, the metal contact sensor or a digital temperature sensor. There is also a magnetic sensor, a relay, a light switch and a laser transmitter. As you can see, this kit includes many additional elements to create more advanced and sophisticated projects.
Finally, we leave you the Arduino book. Tips and tricks for 30 dollars. It is a very interesting book that includes 120 different projects that will help us to get the most out of the Arduino board and learn a lot more about it.
