Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic came out in 2003 and with it the shape for mass effect and many subsequent RPGs were born. Starting with BioWares (mass effect, dragon time) groundbreaking first entry and ends with Obsidian (The outer worlds, pillars of eternity) exciting sequel, KotOR is an integral part of modern gaming history and one hell of a sci-fi experience war of stars Universe.
Working with source material that’s more fantastic than what we’re probably expecting starfield, you have the choice to be a Jedi or a Sith, with some room to hang out in the middle too – although as a ’00s-era game, some of the moral choices seem a bit dated by today’s standards. Given the age of the game, that’s not the only aspect that shows its age. The combat in particular feels a little rigid, although you can pause it to get a feel for what’s going on should you feel overwhelmed. When you down with his quicks KotOR stays wonderful war of stars ROLE PLAYING GAME.
4,000 years earlier Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menacethe events of the game are so far removed from the movies that you really get to write your own story as you unravel the mysteries of the Jedi and Sith.
if you a war of stars fan and have not played KotOR, you need to close this tab and get there. If you are just looking for a great RPG set in space, KotOR will not disappoint in this category either.
