6 tips and tricks for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands newcomers

Newcomers, Tinas, Tiny, tips, tricks, Wonderlands

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is similar to other Borderlands games, but there are many differences that can make life difficult for you.

You join Tiny Tina in a wonderful Bunkers & Badasses campaign where your ultimate goal is to stop the Dragon Lord from conquering the Wonderlands. With a total of 15 multiclass combinations to choose from, it’s a bit difficult to even think about stopping the Dragonlord. Before you role-play your first campaign Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandwe’ve put together a beginner’s guide with tips and tricks to make it easier for you.

Different names, same properties

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is a standalone game, but it’s still Borderlands. Many features are returning under new names, and some work a little differently. Grenades are now spells and rely on cooldowns instead of ammo. Class mods are back as armor and any class can equip them. However, skill tree modifiers only work if the armor is for your class. Anointings are now known as Enchantments and have been slightly tuned down.

Borderlands weapon manufacturers are also back Tiny Tina’s Wonderland under new names. Use the information below to view the weapon manufacturer name changes.

Stay in the action

Many quality of life changes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderland allow you to stay in the action.

For example, you can now push chests, melee attack, and slam the ground to open chests, and these alternatives can help mid-fight. You can also open multiple chests at once and deal damage to your enemies. Beware of some chests, however, as they can transform into mimic chests.

If you go downstairs and type “save your soul” (formerly known as “fight for your life” in other Borderlands games), you can now use your spells while downstairs. This is useful when you’re low on ammo and need some extra damage to get a second wind. It is available to any class, with no requirements other than having a spell.

in the borderland 3, Vending Machines added a feature to refill all your ammo with one touch. in the Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, you can still refill ammo, but now you can also sell your junk. Mark your items as junk in your inventory to sell them quickly.

Experiment with your upgrades

With the addition of the multiclass system and hero points, there are many possible builds Tiny Tina’s Wonderland. With six classes, there are 15 possible class combinations. Each class has a class talent, two action skills, and a skill tree, but multiclassing gives you access to both. Class talents are passive abilities, and action abilities can be freely switched.

However, skill trees do cost a bit of money to respec and refund all of your allocated skill points. If you don’t like an upgraded skill, you can respec your skill trees and test your other skills. If you don’t like the secondary class you’ve chosen, you can switch classes after completing the main story for even more build variety.

Hero Points are a new addition that change your Destiny Maker’s attributes. Similar to a tabletop roleplaying game, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland allows you to alter your Fatemaker’s Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, Constitution and Attunement. Don’t worry if you made a mistake in allocating your hero points, because you can reset those points early in the story.

Complete challenges for permanent buffs

Challenges were a good source of XP in previous Borderlands games, but they’re more important in Tiny Tina’s Wonderland. Challenges can now grant your Fatemaker permanent buffs such as B. more loot luck and hero points. Many challenges are hidden in Wonderlands, and they range from finding hidden collectibles to battling a mini-boss.

Lucky Dice in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

One challenge to watch out for is the Lucky Dice, a bright orange 20-sided die that drops loot when activated. The loot you get depends on what you roll when you interact with the cube. These lucky dice also increase your loot luck throughout your playthrough. So the more lucky cubes you find, the better loot you get.

You can track your challenges in the Progress section of the Map tab in your menu, and check your buffs on the right side of the Journal tab in your menu.

Switch between damage types

Dealing a lot of damage is what Tiny Tina’s Wonderland everything is about. In order to deal the most damage possible, you need to switch between elements depending on the enemy.

There are five types of elemental damage: Fire, poison, lightning, frostand Dark magic. Everyone has their own health type that they work best against. Fire ignites flesh (red health bars), poison corrodes armor (yellow health bars), lightning shatters shields (blue health bars), and frost freezes bones (white health bars). Dark Magic deals less damage to all health types, but drains health from your enemies to heal yourself.

Redeem shift codes for free goodies

Shift codes are an easy way to earn rewards Tiny Tina’s Wonderland. In previous Borderlands games, Shift Codes gave out Golden Keys and unlocked new Vault Hunter skins, and the same is expected Tiny Tina’s Wonderland. Golden Keys can be used on Golden Chests, which contain high rarity weapons, armor, wards, and spells. Golden keys are not an unlimited resource, so use them sparingly.

Keep an eye out for shift codes on social media, as developers occasionally post these codes on their social media accounts. You can redeem your shift codes on the Shift code redemption page or the Social tab in the in-game menu.
