Last month someone was able to to steal a pile Fallout 76 player and gear items using a cheat system. Now some of these players claim that Bethesda has finally been able to recover its lost items by giving them access to the types of characters they made prior to the incident.
Player IGN Romulox reported on Reddit last week they said yes I received an email from Bethesda stating that the company will give them access to the newcomer for the same list as before, plus $ 8,250 for the game's Atom coin, which is about $ 75.
"Your character's character (whose name has been changed) will be restored on January 22, 2020," Bethesda said in an email. "Once restored, this character will have an inventory of items, gear and scarves (100% of your belongings) available on December 20, 2019." A few other players on Reddit made sure they received the same email and access to the characters behind.
The amendment effort went one step further, when Bethesda offered to have one of its employees join the game to activate “safe sales” so that the player could combine any spoils they received last month with a character It's good and fortunate that Bethesda had backups to use to give affected players their inventions, too and ironically, the only way to integrate old and new inventories was to actually meet someone who was before them.
Of course, players are also surprised when someone manages to pull out their gear for the first time. Many cheat programs have invaded the PC version of the game in late November, which not only steals people's stuff but also add NPCs to the game and repeat rare items.
While the hash inventory and other accessories were released for the game at the end of December, the fact that they made the game at least partly raised questions about how exactly Fallout 76The world of multiplayer online is being built and what their agents may be planning for the most in the future.
At the moment, it seems that IGN Romulox is satisfied with Bethesda's apology and has decided to share their fortune with the rest of the community by chasing some of their standard gear that was repeated in the character integration process.
