Anime Art is an upcoming book from Volume which explores, well, architecture in anime, looking at buildings, cities and projects from other major films in between.
It has loads of production and visual elements behind the image, many of which can be seen before, from related movies Akira, Patlabor (and Patlabor 2!) and Ghost in the Shelf.
Here are three ways to improve your workplace at home
They are all old films, and for good reason: the book focuses on the pre-digital age of anime, where the background and location had to be hand painted with very funny minute details.
The book will be out by the end of 2020, and you can order it here.
