Whenever I play LEGO Star Wars games, I spent a lot of time gardening. I did this because collecting courses allows you to unlock new characters, features and because they are fun. But one player has decided to try and play it all LEGO Star Wars avoidance games every single Stud.
YouTuber, Sovern Gaming, really like LEGO Star Wars
Earlier this week, they uploaded a new video where they did the same thing last time, but with a big change. Previously, they tried this challenge in Story Mode without any extras or co-op. Now they want to see how much of the required studs can go if they use all of the in-game and play in Free Mode, which lets you switch between multiple characters, which can help you get into the levels that rarely appear in.
The end result is less than 212, Sovern only collects 31 of 31. To complete this run, Sovern Gaming had to use a few different tactics. One of the most interesting is a strategy called “Yodaka Jumping.” This is where you use Yoda and Droideka characters to jump high despite walls and objects you can't reach.
Another fun tactic is simple but useful. Sometimes in the LEGO Star Wars, the game will open just at the start of the head at the top of the stage. But if you press the variable character button before the level starts, you can avoid these annoying studs.
Studs were my favorite collections in LEGO games, but after watching Sovern Gaming go so far as to hit the Stud-free area, I found one random suit set in an inevitable place, and I started to get angry at the studs. Come on, you bastards. WHY do you put one suit next to that door ?? Why?
