The Legendary Pictures MonsterVerse has been one of the more successful cinematic universes, chugging along quietly since 2014 godzilla Rebooting to last year’s neon-soaked roller coaster ride Godzilla vs Kong. The thread that ties them all together isn’t just the monsters – dubbed “Titans” in the movie storyline – but also the shadowy organization called the Monarch, which seems interested in exploiting them. This thread continues in a new Apple TV Plus series set in the MonsterVerse with Godzilla and the Titans.
Coming from showrunner Chris Black (Star Trek: Enterprise) and comics superstar Matt Fraction (best known for hawk eye), the currently untitled series doesn’t have a date yet, but there’s a description of what to expect.

On the one hand that does It seems like it’s doubling down on the weakest part of the MonsterVerse yet – its human cast. However, if Matt Fraction’s recent involvement is consistent with his performance — namely his adventurer
It’s almost impossible to come up with an original idea in today’s franchise-driven environment, that is, an old-school adventure story against the framework of the MonsterVerse (the one very Jules Verne-y turn in Godzilla vs Kong) could be a lot of fun.
Besides, Apple has money. Please spend it on the giant lizard and his friends.
