Instead of starring Nicolas Cage character Benjamin Gates, the new series will star 20-year-old DREAMer Jess Morales, a new character in the National Treasure series, as she and her friends go on an adventure to find a lost one Find treasure. On the way they will discover their mysterious family history. Of course, since this is a National Treasure series, there are plenty of random puzzles that can only be solved with an obscure US story, as well as historical documents with hidden maps.

In another part of National Treasure’s expanded universe, the franchisees third film is also still in development. The film is still slated for Nicolas Cage, who also directed the first two films. From January 2020 it will be written by Chris Bremner (Bad Boys For Life).
