During the EVO 2022 celebrations over the weekend Publisher SNK released a short video announcing a brand new release fatal rage Game that felt like both a big surprise and a kind of inevitability considering the time that had passed since the last one.

What a game might look like is anyone’s guessas this announcement – based on a single image and with no other accompanying information – is about as brief as you’d expect from a major publisher and suggests that this game is Years off the release.
One piece of news found on the image itself, and helpfully enlarged during the trailer, was the signature of Aki Senno, aka Tonko, who has worked on and off for SNK for 25 years years as an artist on the Last blade, king of fighters, Samurai Shotdown and Metal bullet Series.
However, she is perhaps best known for her work on the original Garou—released in arcades in 1999, but again in 2000 on Neo Geo and 2001 on the Dreamcast—So bringing them back on board for this game is a nice treat for longtime fans of SNK fighting games.
