As if watching each of the Lord of the Rings films (and their expanded editions) in whopping 4K wasn’t already a huge treat, the 9-disc trilogy is just a fraction of what’s included Gift box with a ring that’s coming this December. The box with films and a replica of the One Ring from Noble collection are contained in a book-like case that features a hardcover leatherette cover, gold foiled pages and a map of Middle-earth on the inside flap.
According to Amazon’s listing, the One Ring Gift Box edition will begin shipping on December 20th, just after the Black Friday and Cyber Monday rush – but just in time to be able to wrap it up and gift it for the winter holidays. This is the most luxurious Lord of the Rings 4K Blu-ray set yet and will launch at a premium price of $1,000 $157.32 and you can pre-order it now. As with other Amazon pre-orders, if the price drops before launch – as sometimes inexplicably happens with pre-orders – you will pay the lowest available price between the time of your pre-order and the actual shipping of the product.
