GravitySony’s topsy-turvy action-adventure game that no longer exists Japan Studio, could return. According to a current rumor, a Gravity Rush 2 Remaster is in development for PS5 and PC. Seven years after its release and three years after the closure of the Japan Studio, fans of Gravity are still quick to praise the quirky franchise that began on the PS Vita. Gravity Rush 2 Getting into the hands of more players is always good news Gravity fans.
The rumor comes from the Gravity Modding Team Alua Discord serverwhere user Orangee claimed on March 3 that a Gravity Rush 2 Remaster is currently in development. Orangee has a good track record when it comes to this Gravity-related leaks, with previously leaked the existence of one Gravity film, as well as leaked that it would be appearing at CES – we have ours first look at the film at CES, just over four months after this leak. Now the leaker is telling fans that they can expect news in May and that the PC version of the game will be released at a later date than the PS5 version. If true, this release cadence would be consistent with how Sony has typically handled bringing its first-party titles to PC in the past, such as with Horizon Zero Dawn And God of War (2018).
Developed by Team Gravity at Japan Studio, Gravity released for the PS Vita in 2012. The game follows Kat, a woman who can control gravity, and the game mechanics revolve around manipulating gravity to traverse space and attack enemies. The mechanics utilized the handheld’s motion and touch controls. Like so many games from Japan Studio Gravity gained cult status due to its unique design and lovable cast. With the Gravity Film in production and the rumors about a Gravity Rush 2 Remastered, it seems Gravity Fans could eat well. We dare to hope for one Gravity 3?
