In the last week or so, quite a few people have been playing Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC have encountered a bug that at the end of the game’s dialogue sequences would just go on and honk a loud air horn.
It wasn’t for everyone, and how Play computer games report Some players – presumably those who have spent some time in New York City – didn’t even realize it was a bug in the first place. But for others it was there, it was recognizable as a mistake and it was wonderful.
An emotional revelation from a family member? HORN. A heartfelt thank you for risking your life? HORN. A somber reflection on the nature of heroism and the sacrifices involved? HOOOOOOOOONK.

A new patch for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is now live. This update includes dozens of fixes and improvements. We fixed a bug that caused some players to hear unintended air horn sounds and fixed a bug that caused some audio effects to be missing in certain cutscenes.

Audio missing from cutscenes would indeed suck. I’m glad they fixed that. but extra Audio, such as an air horn that sounds at inopportune times, isn’t bad. It’s very good and funny. Since one of the other things touched on in the update was creating an option to “skip fast travel animations”, could we please get “exit the very funny air horn” as a box to tick as well? Thanks very much!
