There are several hidden levels In Astro Botwhich mainly take the form of hidden planets in each nebula. You’ll need to reveal them if you want to complete each level and save each bot. The trick is that you might not even know you’re missing a planet until you’ve completed the nebula and realize you’ve somehow missed a few bots and puzzle pieces on the progress screen.
In this Astro Bot Guide, we will guide you through How to unlock hidden levels and show you where to find all hidden levels.
How to unlock hidden levels in Astro Bot
When you first unlock a fog in Astro Botyou have access to a planet. As you complete more levels, more planets will appear until you can finally face the boss. However, there are plenty of small planetoids hidden in the nebulae, each of which houses a bot. There are even some puzzle pieces that have been hijacked by aliens that you have to chase around the screen to collect.
To reveal these hidden levels, simply fly around until they appear! Now there are some reservations that make it a a little more complex, but in general it is so simple.
Often these events will not appear until you have completed other planets in the nebula, so it is best to wait until you have completed all core planets before looking for new ones. Once you’ve finished the boss and the iconic level of the Nebula, just fly around the screen and bump into the planets. Eventually – usually within 20 seconds – an event will appear on the screen prompting you to investigate.
All of these events are very straightforward. Most of the time, all you have to do is crash your ship into the planet and a level will ensue. Other times, you might have to fly through a bunch of asteroids, whirl around space junk, or chase an alien carrying a puzzle piece.
In four of the five nebulas you will eventually find cavities in the shape of one of the four PlayStation buttons. By starting these levels and completing them, you will unlock four new challenges in this nebula, which are shaped like an X, circle, square or triangle.
If you’ve been flying around for 15-20 seconds and nothing is showing up, try getting out of the fog and back in. Sometimes no more than one event will trigger per trip.
