All quests that have bugs fixed

After a brief error that caused a delay, StarfieldThe first beta update is finally here. Since this first patch contains more than 100 fixes, there is a lot to test.

While Starfield is extensive and full of main and side quests, some of which have been plagued by persistent bugs since release. The latest update aims to fix well over a dozen quest bugs to satisfy completionists and other stargazers alike. We’ve compiled all of the quests addressed in the first beta update, with details on where to find them if you’d like to try out the fixes for yourself.

Fix: Fixed missing slate in the safe that prevented completion of the optional objective “Find Evidence to Blackmail Ayumi Komiko.”

Where can you find: Obtained by completing Ryujin’s Top Secrets quest
Fix: Fixed a possible check lock that could occur if caught by security.

Search: Derelict ship

Fix: Fixed an issue that prevented the player from reaching the pilot’s seat if they did not have access to advanced locks.

Where can you find: Speak to Nyssa Marcano after completing the Liquid Assets quest in New Atlantis
Fix: Fixed a rare issue where the door to Sub 12 could remain locked.

Search: Echoes of the past
Where can you find: Complete the Crimson Fleet’s Tower Meets King quests
Fix: Fixed Delgado getting stuck at the bottom of the stairs during Continuing to Explore the Lock, which could happen if the lock was exited during Delgado’s story dialogue.
Solution 2: Fixed an issue that could cause Mathis’ and Delgado’s weapons to be invisible.

Search: The eye of the storm
Where can you find: Complete the Crimson Fleet’s Absolute Power quests
Fix: Fixed an issue that could cause data transfer not to start after placing the data core.
Solution 2: Fixed an issue where the docking prompt on the Legacy Ship would be missing if the player undocked the Legacy Ship and then reloaded a save before starting the mission.

Search: Executive level
Where can you find: Complete “Sabotage” in the Ryujin quests
Fix: Fixed an issue where players could get stuck on a chair in the Ryujin Industries HQ conference room.

Search: communication error
Where can you find: Travel to Lopez’s Farm on Indum I in the Indum System
Fix: Fixed an issue that prevented the player from completing the quest if they defeated all members of the Defense Pact (Alban Lopez, Jacquelyn Lemaire, and Chanda Banda).

Fix: Fixed a rare crash that could occur when attempting to dock with The Eye.

Fix: Fixed a rare issue that could prevent the quest from starting after completing The Old Neighborhood.
Solution 2: Fixed a rare issue where a temple location might be unpopulated when given the Go To objective.

Fix: Fixed an issue that could prevent interaction with Delgado when behind the glass in The Key Command Center.
Solution 2: Fixed a pile of rubble that could cause the player to get stuck while trying to reach the exhibition hall.

Fix: Fixed dialogue between Sarah and Walter not taking place in The Lodge.

Fix: Fixed a control lock that could occur when entering the flight simulator while a security guard was attempting to arrest him.

Other corrections
