Starting next month, Amazon Prime subscribers will be able to grab eight free PC games, including the best Assassin’s Creed Game, Football manager 2022and the open world stabs them down, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

As we approach the beginning of a new month, Amazon announced that what freebies it will be handing out to Prime subscribers. Some months these free games are a mix of bleh and meh, other times the selection includes a few classics but nothing too exciting. But this September seems to be one of the better months in a while.

September 2022 Sneak Peek – Prime Gaming

As always, these eight games are available free to Prime members starting the first of the month and can only be installed and played on PC. Here is the list of all eight games:

  • Assassin’s Creed Origins
  • Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition
  • Football manager 2022
  • The ditch
  • We. The revolution
  • castle on the coast
  • Word of the Law: Death Mask Collector’s Edition
  • Defend the tower

The two big highlights this month are of course Assassin’s Creed Origins and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. If you’re longing for a big open-world game to lose yourself in, these two titles will provide you with dozens of hours of stealthy action and shadow stitches. Over here at my box, while we worship Black flag and Odysseywe believe origins and its fantastic main campaign and Egyptian map is the best entry in the long-running Ubisoft franchise.

And if you’re excited the new Lord of the rings prime show which will premiere on September 2nd, Shadow of MordorThe darker and more action-oriented take on Tolkien’s iconic franchise could be a perfect companion as you watch the expensive new show.

In the meantime, don’t fall asleep playing the classic 90’s point-and-click adventure game, The ditch. Developed by Lucasarts and written in part by Steven Speilberg himself, it features an interesting and mysterious sci-fi plot that could easily have been made into a movie. (In fact, the original story Speilberg came up with for the game was originally planned as a filmbut was deemed too expensive to produce.)

The ditch and the other seven games can be downloaded and installed all Prime subscribers on PC starting September 1st. If you want to login Primethe service currently costs $15 per month or $140 per year and includes free shipping for Amazon orders and other benefits.
