Annually, the Hollywood chapters of the International Animated Film Association host the Annie Awards, claiming that the year is the most successful for animation. They not only recognize the wide-ranging increase gained from the year, but in the seven days before the start of the Oscar poll, they stand as an influential moment in deciding which film could win the beloved Oscar.
