The first movie in Marvel’s Phase 5 is almost here. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters in just a few weeks, and on Monday night we got the biggest and most informative trailer yet. Along with more Kang and more Quantum Realm, the trailer reveals MODOK, a fan-favorite villain who makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in this film. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
While Kang has technically been floating around in the MCU since its debut Loki, quantum will be his first film as an official big villain — at least assuming he’s a villain this time. This is also the world’s first major introduction to the MCU’s next major phase, which will once again span both film and television.
This series of films begins with quantum will expand and tie Marvel’s diverse universes into Phase 4 and Phase 6, ultimately completing the Multiverse saga. This storytelling segment will conclude with two new Avengers movies, The Kang Dynasty in 2025 and Secret Wars in 2026.
Marvel will also be released for the remainder of 2023 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on May 5th and The wonders on July 28th.
