Eight months after Mera's first pregnancy was revealed, Queen Atlantis and her daughter-in-law welcomed a baby girl into their deep sea state. The little princess is noisy and healthy, and her mother is resting in a stable … after spending a lot of effort making a kaiju version of herself made of mind-controlled water to fight the giant robot.

The jokes are good soap operators. And under the pen of writer Kelly Sue DeConnick, I have no doubt that Mera will live that long in the truth – she may be gaining some great power out of it.

DCeased: Unkillables # 1 is the first DC series to happen to citizens during the zombie apocalypse, and this page has made its rounds due to the law of humor. Not only does Jason Todd say that he cannot be judged during the apocalypse but more careful words are "apocalypse" rather than "apocalypse." Chef kiss emoji.

New Mutants # 7

Sundspot is outraged that Dani Moonstar interrupts her last issue, only to Daniel to explain that she missed the New Mutants program and therefore just interrupted the current issue, in New Mutants # 7, Marvel Comics (2020).

Instead of glittering through certain events in narrative, New Mutants # 7 introduces a feature where one of the characters performs problematic events before they occur, so the characters just go a little further. This is a joke that only works once, but it really worked for me.
