Arcane Trailer: Netflix’s League of Legends series is here

Arcane, the first full League of Legends Animated series, has a trailer. Riot and Netflix released a first look at the series on Friday as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week event.

The series seems to be set primarily in the wonderful techno paradise of Piltover and its twin town Zaun, a place of unbridled technological terror. The two cities are constantly at odds with each other, and members of Zaun flock to the streets of Piltover to wreak various forms of mayhem and mayhem.

This latest clip focuses on Jinx, a mess-loving criminal from Zaun. But before she was the weapon wielding figure league

Fans today know that she was the sister of one of Piltover’s top cops, Vi. The clip gives us brief flashbacks into Jinx’s past with her sister and lets her out of some of the resentment that is built up between the two of them. It seems that this relationship will play a central role in Arcane, which will hopefully give us more of the backstory of both characters.

Arcane is produced in-house by Riot Games in association with Fortiche Productions, who often collaborate with Riot on animated shorts for League of Legends in the past including K / DA’s animated music video for Pop / Stars.

Arcane should appear on Netflix in autumn 2021.
