Fourteen days‘S new Avatar: The Last Airbender skins are live and fans seem to be enjoying playing as Toph, Aang, Zuko and Katara. All skins match an in-game Avatar Event where player Control the elements like a bender from the show. So it’s not all that surprising that Sokka, one of the series’ main characters who isn’t an element-controlling bender, didn’t make it. But that hasn’t stopped fans from expressing their disappointment.
Although Sokka isn’t a character with superpowers, he is a fan favorite. He’s great at comedic relief and has a meaningful story arc that they left out the live-action Netflix seriesand is overall an important piece of the show puzzle with a lot of love in the community. Even if it doesn’t quite match the Bender theme of the film Fourteen days Event it would have been nice to see him there.
To add insult to injury, Fourteen days contained references to Sokka, including his sword as a usable weapon, but didn’t get around to actually putting him in the game.
However, this may only be a temporary pain point as Sokka may be added as a skin later. Fourteen days has introduced new skins for the same property in waves, such as Dragon Ball Skins released with months between releases. So there is a non-zero chance that Sokka will appear in a future update. But his omission still hurts. Give Sokka a weapon, Epic.
