Baldur’s Gate 3‘S physically Deluxe Edition has a production stoppage that has unfortunately delayed it for some people. Especially if you pre-ordered the bundle for PlayStation 5, you will have to wait a little longer for your box multiple discs and other treats come to your home.

The developer Larian Studios published a detailed statement about its Social Media Channels explains the situation, claiming that approval for certain regions (like North America) took “much longer than expected” due to the process of manufacturing PlayStation 5 discs by outside production companies. The studio expects North American PS5 copies to be ready in “approximately 14 days” starting May 24. Delivery is expected to take an additional 10 days, though Larian says it’s in talks to potentially hire additional temporary staff to speed up assembly times. Larian says it can’t replace the physical copies with digital ones for those still waiting for a physical copy to actually play the game, so they’ll have to wait until July for them to arrive.

“With the commitment to create physical editions, we wanted to preserve the almost nostalgic feeling you get when you unbox your latest game. We want to maintain that commitment going forward, this time making sure we continue to work closely with our partners to guide the planning and production process.”

In the meantime, the Xbox and PS5 editions outside North America were sent and should arrive shortly. This is the second physical edition that Larian has released for Baldur’s Gate 3The original is the Collector’s Edition, which was released together with the game in August last year. We have a Unboxing here at My citybut it is sold out and there are no plans to restock.

If you have waited so long to play Baldur’s Gate 3I guess another month isn’t that long to wait. But damn, if that’s the situation, y’all are more patient than me.
