I’m glad to hear that system shock The remake turned out great as there were some delays during development (we have a review here if you’re interested). Luckily, if you’re looking to buy it, there’s an offer right now on the Epic Games Store to take advantage of.
Epic big sale, which is valid until June 15th, gives you a 25% discount on most games costing $14.99 or more. For the system shock Remake drops the game’s normal price at the box office from $39.99 to $29.99. With that in mind, you’ll receive a 25% discount on up to 50 game purchases as long as the price of each eligible item is $14.99 or more.
Meta this week announced the Quest 3 virtual reality headset. It’s not ready for shelves yet; Meta plans to launch it this fall. However, we finally know it’s coming, and it costs $499.99 to launch. In the same news story, Meta said the 128GB Quest 2 headset – still a very nice and fun device – will start at $299.99 Sunday June 4th. It originally launched at that exact price point in 2020, albeit with just 64GB of storage and before Meta bumped its price to $399.99 due to inflation.
There are a lot of good games out there and more are on the way. Meta just had its annual game presentation where a reboot was announced The 7th guest and a a lot of other titles. And more good news for Quest 2 owners, Meta is releasing a software update that boosts CPU and GPU performance — a notable feat for a device that’s almost three years old.
If you love the Xbox 360 controller, but your old gamepad may have seen better days cosmetically, here’s a tip you might enjoy. The $49.99 Hyperkin Xenon, a wired replica of the Xbox 360 controller, launches June 6th. Previously, Hyperkin only took pre-orders through its own website, but this is now the case expanded to Amazon

It’s almost summer and it’s time for some water adventures. Speaking of making a splash, that avatar Consequence, The way of the waterwill be released on CD soon (it’s been available for digital rental for months). If you can’t wait to see James Cameron’s latest and wettest epic, I recommend buying the 4K Blu-ray version from Amazon as it’s $5 cheaper than the standard Blu-ray. It contains a 4K Blu-ray compatible with select Blu-ray players (including the latest consoles), a 1080p Blu-ray disc and a digital copy of the film.
The film is over three hours long and luckily, unlike moviegoers, you can pause the film at home in case you need to go to the bathroom. Still, you might enjoy this post we wrote during the theatrical release, which sort of tells people when it’s safe to see a Na’vi over a direhorse without missing a lot of plot development.
gonna see it Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse? Lucky you. My local cinemas are completely sold out this weekend so I’ll have to wait a bit. Whether you see it right away or not, you might be interested in related merchandise including games, books, and movies that we recommend to fans. We have over a dozen fun gift ideas here.
One of those things really caught my eye: the hardcover book titled The art of filmthat dissects Across the spider verse‘s look. It should be interesting (and beautiful) reading when it comes out on July 3rd.
It’s a great weekend for fans of outstanding animation (who also enjoy deals) as there are multiple Studio Ghibli Blu-ray Steelbooks on offer for each price for about $16 on Amazon. They usually sell for around $26. It’s worth noting that most of the studio’s films are available through streaming service Max (formerly known as HBO Max – I know, I’m still getting used to the name change, too).
If you’re looking for related reading, the staff at Polygon dug deep into Studio Ghibli’s catalog in 2020 and created what is (if I do say so much) a great collection of stories that fans should read.
To celebrate the upcoming launch of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny On June 30th, Shop Disney is offering Disney Plus subscribers early access to this… interesting piece of clothing. It’s the iconic fedora Indiana Jones wears, scaled down slightly to fit giant Mickey Mouse ears on each side. Subscribers have early access to this article until June 8th, for a fee $34.99. From that date it will also be available to non-subscribers.
