The BlackOps 6 beta runs over two weekends in August and September, including an open beta for all players.
Unlike previous Call of Duty games, the Early Access beta is available to all platforms, not just PlayStation owners. For anyone without a beta code, access will be fully available in the second weekend as part of an open phase. We’re now in the second weekend, so you can jump in on September 6th.

Black Ops 6 Beta Start and End Dates
BlackOps 6The beta will take place over two weekends, with the first being available only in Early Access. Unlike previous Call of Duty betas, both weekends will be available on all platforms – provided you have a beta code, have pre-ordered, or are playing on Xbox Game Pass.
The BlackOps 6 Beta dates are:
- Early Access (Weekend 1): Friday, August 30th to Wednesday, September 4th
- Open Beta (second weekend): Friday, September 6th to Monday, September 9th
Please note: If you want all the beta rewards (see the last section of this page for details), you will need to start playing during the first weekend to get everything.
Black Ops 6 Beta End Time: What Time is 10:00 AM PT in Your Time Zone?
The Second BlackOps 6 Beta weekend will be Ends on Monday, September 9 at the following times:
- 10am PDT for the west coast of North America
- 1:00 p.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
- 18:00 BST for Great Britain
- 7pm CEST for the western European mainland
- 2am JST the following day in Japan

What’s in the Black Ops 6 Open Beta?
Here is everything we can expect from the BlackOps 6 Open Beta on the second weekend:
- Eight cards: Derelict, Rewind, Scud, Skyline, Babylon (core cards) and Gala, Pit, Stakeout (strike cards)
- Eight modes: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Order, Face-Off Team Deathmatch, Face-Off Kill Confirmed, Face-Off Kill Order, Gunfight
- The training coursewhere you can learn more about the Omnimovement system and other new combat enhancements
- Player level cap of 30an increase of 10 compared to the cap of 20 on the first beta weekend
- Balance changes since the first weekend, including changes to weapon balance and spawns, as well as an increased weapon XP earning rate
- Cross Play between all platforms
As with previous Call of Duty betas, The progress will not be carried over into the full game.. However, you can unlock a number of rewards depending on how much you play over both weekends…
You can unlock a number of rewards that you can use to upgrade to the full version of BlackOps 6 by reaching certain ranks. Note that some rewards can only be unlocked on the first or second weekend, so to unlock everything you’ll need to reach level 20 on the first weekend and then level up to level 30 before the beta ends at the end of the second weekend.
- Level 2: Animated emblem for beta testers (both weekends)
- Level 6: Beta Day Spray (every weekend)
- Level 11: Weapon Spell “No Mistakes” (both weekends)
- Level 15: Quick Draw Emote (both weekends)
- Level 20: Squish Westpoint Operator Skin (first weekend only), Squish Westpoint Operator Skin (every weekend)
- Level 23: Loading screen of “The Truth Lies” (second weekend only)
- Level 27: Animated business card for beta experts (second weekend only)

How to get Black Ops 6 beta codes and access worked on the first weekend
Note: You don’t need a beta code or pre-order to access the second weekend, September 6-10 – it’s open to all players on all platforms.
Unlike previous Call of Duty betas BlackOps 6The Early Access period is available to players on all platforms, not just PlayStation.
In addition to access through purchasing a beta code or pre-ordering, Xbox and PC users now have an additional method through an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
To get BlackOps 6 Beta in Early Access you can either:
- Pre-order the game. If you pre-ordered digitally, you will automatically receive access on your chosen platform, while physical orders will give you a beta code from that retailer. Pre-orders for the Standard or Vault Edition will grant early access.
- Subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC or Ultimate. In other words, anything except Xbox Game Pass Core gives you access to the beta on Xbox consoles or PC.
- In the US Comcast / Xfinity Rewards Members can request a code, with details here.
- In Great Britain, EE Is Hosting a giveaway its own platform, which also seems to be open to non-EE members.
- Participate in official giveaways. The official Call of Duty account on X (formerly Twitter) held a giveaway in the days leading up to the first beta weekend, and it’s possible they’ll do more – so you should keep an eye out for more code drops on their social media accounts.
To sum up, the only way you’re guaranteed to get a code is by pre-ordering or being an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, but as shown there are a few additional ways to get codes if you don’t want to do that.
Ultimately, Remember that you can access the beta even without pre-ordering – you’ll just have to wait for the second weekend of open beta, which begins on Friday, September 6th.
How to get Black Ops 6 beta code Redemption worked
Note: You don’t need a beta code or pre-order to access the second weekend, September 6-10 – it’s open to all players on all platforms.
If you have a beta code, you can find the code on the official Call of Duty website. Sign in to your Call of Duty/Activision account (or create one if you don’t already have one), enter the code, and select your platform and region.
From there, a code will be sent to the email address registered for your account shortly before the beta phase begins.
As mentioned above, if you pre-ordered digitally BlackOps 6 (via PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, or Battle.net) or have a qualifying Xbox Game Pass subscription, you’ll automatically have access—no beta code required.
