If you’re curious what that is best weapons in Black Ops 6 then you have come to the right place. When the game launched – perhaps better thought of as pre-Season 1 – we tested which weapons should go to waste and which should remain in the armory to create a list of the eight best currently.
Luckily, some of these are available very early, so you don’t have to do much grinding to start with the best weapons in the world Black Ops 6.
From assault rifles and SMGs to sniper rifles and shotguns, we’ve included at least one weapon from each primary weapon category. If you have played a Call of duty In the previous game, some of these will seem very familiar to you – and that’s because, as usual, many of these weapons are almost identical to previous versions, albeit with a different name.
What follows is our ranking of the eight best weapons in Black Ops 6is meta at startup.
Black Ops 6 best weapons in the launch meta
The best weapons ever Black Ops 6 at the moment are:
- Jackal PDW (SMG)
- AMES 85 (assault rifle)
- XM4 (assault rifle)
- AEK-973 (shooter rifle)
- So much .22 (SMG)
- LW3A1 Frost Line (sniper rifle)
- Marine SP (shotgun)
- XMG (LMG)
If you played the beta, this list won’t seem too unfamiliar to you, as the weapons that predominated there – the Jackal PDW, AMES 85And XM4 – are still the three best weapons in the world Black Ops 6.
However, further down the list we have the AEK-973 Burst sniper rifle – capable of one-shotting enemies and having manageable recoil – and that So much .22 Submachine Gun – has a much slower rate of fire than you would expect from a submachine gun, but makes up for it in the damage it deals.
The popular LR 7.62 sniper rifle, introduced during the beta, has given way to this LW3A1 Frost Linebecause although they are both automatic and the LR 7.62 does more damage, the LW3A1 is more agile and suits the fast nature of Black Ops 6 better, meaning it’s more suitable for on-the-go sniping than for setting up shop.
The Marine SP The shotgun is better than the ASG-89 – pump-action shotguns with one-shot kill potential will always be at the top of the leaderboard – and the XMG LMGs may not have the best mobility, but they make up for it with their suppressive fire capabilities, lack of recoil, and high damage.
More information about each selection can be found below:
While the Jackal PDW was weakened light Since its dominance in the first weekend of the beta, it is still the most powerful submachine gun and the best weapon in the game overall.
Our top Jackal PDW loadout is the build you’ll want to use with this rapid-fire submachine gun, as it will tear your enemies apart at close range, and if you use the attachments we recommend, you’ll be able to run and shoot without looking down target sights at all. However, this is not the case unlocked until Level 43 So you have to wait a while before equipping it.
In most cases, you’ll want to use a laser alongside the CQB Grip and No Stock (the Steady Aim Laser or Fast Motion Laser will do). This makes the Jackal PDW an absolute machine up close. For the last two attachments, we recommend one of the two Fast Mags, the Ranger Foregrip, the Short Barrel if you have the gun aimed high enough, or the Suppressor.
2. AMES 85 (assault rifle)
If you want to compete at a distance, there is no better reputation than this AMES 85 assault rifle, unlocks at level 19. It has very low recoil and packs an incredible punch, meaning you can take out enemies from a distance with ease, although it doesn’t do its job as well at close range, so we’d recommend using Overkill with it alongside the Jackal PDW .
When it comes to attachments, use ones that improve damage range, recoil, and aiming speed. Either the Compensator or Ported Compensator, Reinforced or Long Barrel, Vertical or Precision Foregrip, Quickdraw or Commando Grip, and Heavy or Combat Stock should do the trick. Consider using an optical sight instead of one if you are not a fan of the iron sight!
When it comes to all-rounders, you’ve come to the right place XM4. We’ve covered the best XM4 gear in a separate guide, but what you get with this weapon is your standard assault rifle that can do it all. Fighting through hallways and tight corners? Posted behind the covers? Run and shoot? The XM4 is your weapon, especially when you take that into account Unlocks at level four.
It doesn’t really excel at anything, but that means you’ll want to equip it for every situation. A decent optical sight is a necessity, then we recommend you opt for attachments that improve damage, range and recoil control. A foregrip is essential, as is the long or reinforced barrel when you unlock it.
4. AEK-973 (sniper rifle)
The first addition to our list of the best weapons Black Ops 6 Above our tips for the beta lies the AEK-973. Unlocks at level 34If you’re lucky, it can break through enemies with one shot, reliably with two.
You need to be able to land your shots, so focus on managing the recoil, but once you’ve done that, the AEK-973 is perfect for playing slowly and tactically, making your way around the map methodically.
We recommend the Ported Compensator and Reinforced Barrel attachments to make it easier to take out enemies at range, as well as the Vertical Foregrip to handle horizontal recoil. The Commando Grip, on the other hand, improves down aim and sprint to fire speed, giving you a bit more mobility.
An optical sight is required due to the weapon’s poor iron sights, but which target you choose is personal preference – we like the Accu-Spot Ultra Holo for its 3x zoom and unobstructed view.
The So much .22 is an interesting choice because despite being a submachine gun, it fires incredibly slowly compared to most other machines. However, it makes up for this shortcoming with the amount of damage it deals. While it’s not great up close and is outclassed by any submachine gun with a faster rate of fire, from slightly further away this thing is a monster. You can get it at Level 16.
You’ll want to ease into this by using the Ported Compensator to control recoil, then aim for the rest of the attachments to improve both recoil and mobility. The Ranger Foregrip is a good choice, as are the Commando Grip and the Balanced Shaft. Finally we decided on an optical sight, but any red dot or holographic sight will do.
6. LW3A1 Frostline (Sniper Rifle)
The replacement for our sniper rifle pick from the beta (the LR 7.62) is the LW3A1 Frost Lineanother repeating sniper rifle with slightly less firepower but more mobility and handling. While you can equip this sniper to play slowly and pick off enemies from a distance, that’s primarily why it’s better suited to the fast-paced play style Black Ops 6 is a fast-paced shooter.
It’s also the first sniper you get, so once you get to it, you’ll have it Stage four.
You’ll want attachments that improve mobility even further, so opt for a mid-range scope – our recommendation is the Dobrych 4x – and the muzzle brake to control recoil and reset your aim.
The Short Barrel, Command Riser, and Light Stock attachments all add even greater mobility, allowing you to aim the sights faster, move faster, and raise your weapon quicker from a sprint.
The Marine SP The shotgun is a real hit on the smaller maps available in the game, such as those in the Face Off Moshpit playlist, due to the sheer damage it can deal per shot. Make sure you keep moving and can kill one enemy after another with each shot, as there is no room for long-range combat on these maps.
Also, don’t worry about having to unlock the Marine SP because it unlocks at Stage fourthen custom loadouts will also become available.
You’ll need the combat or quick-loading barrel, Ranger foregrip, balanced stock, steady-aim laser, and rapid-fire attachment to get the most out of it. If you decide to use this weapon on other maps, make sure to use Overkill to equip another primary weapon suitable for longer range combat.
Finally we have this XMG. This is by far the best LMG in the game, meaning that while it’s not suitable for a run-and-gun playstyle, if you’re content with playing slower and lying down many When it comes to suppressive fire, the XMG is a beast.
It has the highest firepower and magazine size in this category. Therefore, when it comes to attachments, you’ll want to make it a little more mobile to ensure you can keep up in as many situations as possible while maintaining recoil control. You can also unlock it early at Level 13.
With the XMG, it is important to note that we do not recommend an optical sight, as our testing has shown that recoil is best controlled with the iron sight. However, we would recommend using the Reinforced Barrel to increase damage range and the Ranger Foregrip to handle the horizontal recoil and slightly improve your movement speed.
The Commando Grip and Balanced Stock improve mobility, and the recoil springs help you keep everything under control.
Finally, there is an honorable mention for our best C9 loadout. The MP5-inspired SMG isn’t worth including on this list, but with the right attachments it’s still very strong and deserves your time once you’ve exhausted the Jackal PDW.
