Black widow hits Disney Plus and cinemas on July 9, 2021, two months after the last scheduled release date on May 7, 2021. Originally scheduled for May 1, 2020, the film was initially postponed to November 6, 2020, then briefly took place on May 7, 2021 as film studios assessed whether audiences would return to theaters as COVID-19 cases declined and vaccine availability increased. The answer seems to be “not yet”.
The film will be available through Disney Plus’ $ 30 Premier Access program Raya and the last dragon and Mulan. The message comes shortly afterwards Disney announced that the first episode of The falcon and the winter soldier was the most watched premiere of Disney Plus WandaVision and The Mandalorian before. The company didn’t include any numbers in its announcement, but it reiterates the not-too-fancy notion that the majority of the services a staggering 100 million subscribers will happily stream the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe entry and maybe even pay the $ 30 Premier Access fee for a theatrical release.
