Let me explain. Back then, during the legion expansion in 2016, Khadgar called players to Dalaran. Khadgar has a long history; he was present in the original RTS games, but disappeared during Warcraft2. We found him again in Shattrath during The Burning Crusadeand to Warlords of Draenorhe has really improved.
At that time legion When the Dark Lord arrived, everyone loved Khadgar, AKA Dadgar, for his good nature and silly antics. Sure, he’s a superpowered mage and the hero of all of Azeroth’s great wars. But he also tracks down the hero for a Skype call by floating his own head in a sphere.
The start of the expansion was well received. Khadgar called the players back to Dalaran, the city of mages and the popular center of the Alliance and Horde in Wrath of the Lich King. The Legion was back and players had to find powerful artifact weapons. Among them was Xal’atath, the artifact of the Shadow Priest. This eyed knife proved to be much more than a simple stabbing instrument; it is clearly connected to the Old Gods and their ancient Black Empire and they are all equally ambitious.
Xal’atath was also suspiciously complacent for a knife. She escaped that ship as part of a larger plot, and that leads to big problems. Xal’atath now haunts the corpse of a void elf, empowering an ancient spider kingdom.
Blizzard also released a six-second clip of an animated project titled “Soon™.” The video ends with The war withinSo we’ll have to wait and see how well the teaser – which features elves fighting the Horde – represents the final product.
Whatever the case, this pre-patch event definitely promises trouble. We will see how this showdown plays out in the run-up to The war withinRelease on August 26th.
