You have played Blood transferred in the third person, yes, but what about the first person?
This new attempt by Garden of Eyes, built from an existing one Dark souls 3 one from prolific Souls modder Zullie The Witch, goes beyond simply dragging the camera to another position and takes all sorts of things into account in an attempt to make the experience as playable as possible.
How playable this is remains to be seen – it deprives you of a lot of spatial awareness that you need in fighting games like this – but this is a mod, not a basic design theorem, so I’m really just more impressed with how sleek, this looks more like than what it adds (or takes away!) to the actual gaming experience Blood transferred.
The mod is actually triggered by wearing a new headgear called the “Great One Hat” that you get right at the start of the game. And as you can see, the floating hands and holding animations are edited by Garden of Eyes that change the angle slightly depending on which weapon you are holding.
It will also be compatible with Lance McDonald’s 60FPS patch which is nice. Bloodborne first person mod is not quite still available for download, but keep an eye on the Patreon of Garden of Eyes
You can see it in action in the video below, if you had told me it would be a trailer for Bloodborne VR I would have believed you 100%.
If Zullie’s name sounds familiar, it’s because You are one of the names behind it nightfall, an upcoming fan-made “direct sequel” to Dark souls, the Creator of a first-person mod for Axe and also one of my favorites Dark souls Modifications, where you can swap your player character and get things done as a skeleton that just does its best.
