Bonkers Destiny 2 Shard Farm offers you unlimited exotics

A new bug in there destiny 2is the season of the deep makes it easy to farm infinite legendary shards through unlimited exotic drops. It’s super simple and straightforward and probably won’t be around for long.

I came across the exploit via the exploit determination Streamer Leopardalthough it has spread like wildfire throughout the community because it is so fast and generous. Season of the Deep has added new class-based exotic quests for existing gear, reworked at Ikora Rey in the Tower. With a simple trick, you can take the single exotic reward and multiply it indefinitely. This is how it works:

  1. Go to Ikora and choose one of the exotic quests.
  2. Proceed to step four
  3. Go back and talk to her, but don’t get the reward
  4. Instead, go back, open your quest log, and cancel the quest
  5. Now talk to Ikora again and get as many copies of the Exotic as you want

Make sure that the inventory slot for the corresponding piece of armor is empty, otherwise the slot will fill up quickly. But once you get started, you can just start deleting any extra Exotic pieces and then grab more without ever leaving Ikora’s quest screen. For each Exotics dismantled, you will receive 7 Gunsmith reputation, 500 Glimmer and 5 Legendary Shards.

Shards are used to focus engrams, buy other resources like upgrade modules, and snag new weapons and gear from various vendors. It’s easy to run out of them, especially if you’re a new player. And you never know which way the wind will turn destiny 2Businessso it’s always a good time to stock up.

However, Bungie likes to patch these exploits quickly, so who knows how long this one will remain functional. Right now it’s nice to have something to fill that with Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Duplicate Error Size Hole in my heart after the last update of this game.

Update 5/26/2023 7:05 PM ET: And it’s already gone. A pity.
