Call of Duty developer explains why Black Ops has so many crazy skins

Black Ops 6, the latest entry in the Call of duty Series, contains some truly bizarre and crazy cosmetics. And while some players hate them, it doesn't look like the developers behind the game will be stopping making them any time soon.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is one of the best entries in the franchise in years, with an action-packed campaign, a great zombies mode, and a huge amount of multiplayer content. But the game, released in October, also includes a lot of crazy character skins, and these skins have become a controversial topic among players. In a new interview with DexertoMiles Leslie, deputy creative director at Black Ops 6 Studio Treyarch, was asked about all the silly cosmetics and explained that ultimately it all comes down to making it fun for people.

“For us, fun always comes first,” explained Leslie. “Of course we want to remain anchored in the DNA that defines you Black Ops The game is unique when it comes to core gameplay, but we also like to break the rules if we want it to give players the most fun possible.”

However, Leslie explained that when developing the campaign, the focus was always on realism and accuracy.
