A new Call of Duty: War Zone The update is here with a much-needed solution to a frustrating bug. The new patch also brings a few balance changes into play, including more DMR-14 nerfs.
The infinite Stim bug allowed players to make infinite use of the Stim tactical gear, which regenerates health quickly, by dropping their weapon while boiling a grenade. This simple activation process meant the bug was easily repeatable, so anyone who wanted could easily use it. Fortunately, with this fix, the glitch should now be gone for good.
The patch also brings another round of nerfs for some of the rifles that have dominated War zone for the past few weeks. The biggest target for nerfs was again the DMR-14, which survived last week’s hits and managed to remain the best weapon in the game without much of a problem. In this patch, Raven took a heavier hand with the gun, greatly reducing damage over longer distances and making the recoil even more unforgiving.
The patch also nerfs type 63, which also received some adjustments last week. The Type 63 is basically the younger brother of the DMR-14, so damage has been reduced even from a distance to ensure that the other rifle in the meta cannot be easily replaced.
