Rufflet, the eagle Pokémon from Unova, is found in the wild Pokemon Go. Yes, Ruffles can shine inside Pokemon Go!
Braviary is a good flying attacker when equipped with Air Slash and Brave Bird. It’s better than its Hisuian sibling, but falls far short of top-tier picks like Moltres.
What is the Shiny Rate for Rufflet in Pokemon Go?
According to old research by the now-defunct website The Silph Road (via Wayback Machine), the shiny rate for Pokémon is about one in 500 on a normal day. Rufflet is not a confirmed Pokémon to receive a “perma boost” (meaning it’s a rare spawn and therefore gets an increased shiny rate).
What can I do to attract more Shiny Pokémon?
Unfortunately not much. It seems to be a coincidence. Shiny Pokemon catch rates are set by developer Niantic and usually only increase during special events like Community Days or Safari Zones, or during Legendary Raids. There are no consumable items that increase the rate of Shiny Pokemon.
Where can I find a list of available Shiny Pokemon?
LeekDuck holds a list of the Shiny Pokemon currently available. It’s a helpful visual guide that illustrates what all of the Shiny Pokemon in existence look like.
