We finally have a look at the legendary vampire hunter Richter Belmont in the upcoming Castlevania spinoff series, Castlevania: nocturne during Netflix Geeked Week.
Castlevania: Nocturne, which takes place long after the fourth season of Castlevania, follows Judge, the great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson of Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades. While nocturneThe announcement trailer was quicker than a hiccup, we saw Richter do a cool hero pose with the icon Vampire Killer Whip in hand before dramatically smoldering towards the camera. Yes, this boy is alright a Belmont.
Although the first season only had four episodes, Castlevania Seventh most popular streaming show of 2017, according to IndieWire. CastlevaniaSubsequent seasons of received critical acclaim, with the third season receiving an award 95% tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes and its second and fourth seasons earned a 100% tomatometer score.
Series director Samuel Deats will return to bring the fangs-filled spin-off into the eyes of vampire fans, along with the trusted hands of Kevin Kolde, executive producer for several episodes of the Castlevania anime as well Castlevania Writer Clive Bradley. Castlevania: Nocturne is currently being produced by Powerhouse Animation and Project 51 Productions.
For those who only know Castlevania through the Netflix series and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, no shame, just know judge is a big deal. Though Sypha and Trevor were a tour de force on their own, Richter is described as “one of the most powerful in the family.” Besides being the protagonist of the PC engine classic Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, Richter is an important figure in the mythos of the series. Given that Richter’s performances span multiple titles Castlevania Games, I would say he is as hearty as he is powerful.
