Crossing the Animals: New Horizons is not authorized for sale in China, but that has not stopped importers and exporters from dealing with it on auction sites online. Now Chinese authorities are backing away from that, said an industry analyst specializing in Asian markets.

But on Friday, Taobao announced that it would no longer distribute imported game types, and game search on the site returned empty pages.

Why? As USGamer reported last week, Hong Konger has been using the game to send the protest art and the stage show, as the COVID-19 outbreak has pushed the real democracy movement inside.
Ahmad noted that the popularity of the game on social media is likely draw the attention of regulators, pleading regular 2017 policy prohibits the sale of imported games. In fact, since the Nintendo switchch unanimously approved the Chinese concession and began selling in December, only three games of the official Switch are officially licensed for sale in China: Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, again New Super Bros U U.
Cracking just eliminates the easiest ways to find out Crossing the Animals: New Horizons. Chinese players can still get it from the Nintendo eShop by changing their region; from an independent grocery store without drawing attention to it; or by contacting a Taobao dealer privately and buying it under the table.
