The entire NBA season has been suspended until further details have been released, on a tour never before seen NBA 2K20 I don't know how to handle it.
The game has a feature called Start Today in its MyLeague mode, which lets you start a task based on positioning and NBA stats and then delete it when using the actual program.
Today, however, if you try and restart it, the game keeps trying (and failing) to emulate other effects and then crash. On the other hand, that makes sense! On the other hand, the schedule as it was is still there, and probably the lack of results or figures from the last 24 hours of postponed games since that announcement.
I'm not posting this to criticize 2K, because nobody saw this coming. Just something we should see moving forward is, hey, as the steps to contain this virus continue to get harder, we will run into unwanted and unexpected consequences like this, whether in our digital or real life.
