What happens in Fortnite when the countdown timer runs out?
There is no official announcement about what this timer is all about, but some data collectors have dug up information about what is likely to happen. For those who don’t like spoilersyou can scroll past the image below.
In short, after the event, the map will probably change a bit and there will be some kind of connection to the upcoming fourth season.
This map image from the FortniteLeaks Subreddit implies that there will be a slight map change after the event. The map change mainly focuses on Redline Rig, which now contains some sort of explosive structure.
Another data miner, McMistrzYT on X (formerly Twitter)has rendered the 3D version of the map to show that this explosive item is Pandora’s Box!
It looks like the box will be up to more mischief next season, but we’ll have to wait and see.
While you wait, be sure to jump into the recently added Fall Guys Challenge and pick up some easy XP before the season ends.
