E3 2021 will take place from June 12th to 15th as a newly designed, completely virtual online event. Nintendo, Xbox, Bethesda, Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, Capcom, and others will be delivering new video game announcements, trailers, release dates, and more.
Cruis’n Blast, the newest entry in the long-running Cruis’n franchise of arcade racing games, hits Nintendo Switch this fall, announced Nintendo on Tuesday during its Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 2021.
Arcade publisher Raw Thrills – a company co-founded by Eugene Jarvis, the original designer of Midway Games’ Cruis’n series in the 1990s Cruis’n Blast in the arcades in January 2017. It was the first Cruis’n title since the 2007 Wii game cruise. The Switch title appears to be a port of that game, and it will be a console exclusive to Nintendo, which means it could be released on PC as well.
Cruis’n Blast has five courses: London; Madagascar; Rio de Janeiro; Death Valley, California; and Singapore. You can see some of them in action in the game’s attraction mode video:
