It is Cult of the Lambbut make it goat. That’s right, developer Massive Monster is adding two player multiplayer cooperative play Cult of the Lamb — with a goat. The free update, called Unholy Alliance, was announced on Friday during Devolver Digital’s Devolver Direct., will be released on August 12th.
With the update, the lamb and the goat can Cult of the Lamb campaign in local co-op. Massive Monster said in a press release that Cult of the LambThe fishing and dice game Knucklebones will also be available for two players. The lamb and goat can “swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back-to-back, or land a critical hit when their attacks are synchronized,” according to the press release. But it’s not all about working together: Single players can try out a few new powers and abilities – in addition to “new tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, follower traits, follower quests, and other secrets to discover.”
Massive Monster and Devolver Digital released Cult of the Lamb in 2022, and it was a huge success. Since then, Massive Monster has released two free updates: the infamous “sex update” Sins of the Flesh and a combat-oriented expansion called Relics of the Old Faith.
