Daniel Dae Kim was cast in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the animated series by Netflix Avatar: The Last Airbender. the Lost The actor will play Firelord Ozai, leader of the unscrupulous Fire Nation and father of the fans’ favorite character, Prince Zuko.
Kim is best known for his role as Jin Kwon Lost
The showrunner and headwriter of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of User picture is Albert Kim (Nikita), and the series is directed by Dan Lin (the Lego Movie), Lindsey Liberatore (Walking aid) and Michael Goi (American horror story), who will also direct some of the series’ episodes. Kim will appear on the show alongside Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka and Dallas Liu as Zuko. The original series creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko were originally involved in the new live-action version but left the project in August.
There is no official release date for the live action yet Avatar: The Last Airbender, but could come as early as 2022.
