A new lineup of Resident Evil characters is here Dead by daylight.
Resident Evils Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy and the eponymous nemesis Resident Evil 3: Nemesis are already part of the cast; They were added in the first Resident Evil crossover chapter, which also featured the Raccoon City Police Department map. This chapter was successful enough to garner a second crossover called Project W, which includes Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers as survivors, while Albert Wesker serves as the latest killer.
Wesker first appeared in the first resident Evil as leader of the elite unit STARS. It is later revealed that he is a traitor who has been working for the dastardly Umbrella Corporation all along. Wesker is reinforced and empowered by his history as a test subject in Project W, and he served as an antagonist throughout many Resident Evil games until Chris Redfield threw him into a volcano at the end resident evil 5. in the Dead by daylight, he is armed with a knife and uses his training and physique to spot and hunt down survivors. He also uses the Uroboros virus to infect survivors and break through barriers.
Rebecca Chambers also appears in the remake of the first Resident Evil game and its prequel. Resident Evil 0. She is a paramedic for STARS and at it Dead by daylight, it looks like she might be able to help her allies with some of that training. Ada Wong, the other new survivor, first appeared in Resident Evil 2, although she played a much larger role in Resident Evil 4. She’s a notorious spy and double agent who usually gets through for the good guys — but only after a few lies, secret schemes, and dramatic standoffs.
Project W starts on August 30th Dead by daylight; Players can purchase Wesker (aka Mastermind), Ada, and Rebecca individually, or all new characters along with Jill, Leon, and Nemesis in a larger Resident Evil franchise bundle.
