Deadpool has finally joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is clearly taking full advantage of the licensing rights and guest appearances that this prestige gives him. In the first trailer for Deadpool and Wolverinewhich debuted during the Super Bowl on Sunday, Marvel’s favorite mercenary teams up with Wolverine to take on the entire multiverse.
The trailer opens with a burned but seemingly happy Wade Wilson throwing a birthday party, suggesting that this isn’t the Wade of the last two Deadpool films. But shortly after the cake arrives, so does the Time Variance Authority Lokiwhoever takes him can tell him that it’s up to him to save the MCU – although we’re not quite sure how yet.

One rumored cameo that hasn’t been revealed is Taylor Swift, who is still may or may not be in the film as pop star superhero Dazzler. While Swift’s inclusion may be puzzling at first, it might be helpful to know that Ryan Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, is good friends with Swift.
