Fate 2: Season of the Splicer’s Week 1 The Seasonal Challenges arrived on May 11th. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to complete them all.
Some Season 14 Weekly Challenges are more involved than the others. See the descriptions below for advice on the fastest way to tackle these seasonal challenges – especially Crack and Decrypt 1, Challenger’s Cipher, and Iron Sharpens Iron in Season 14 – before they expire on August 24th.
Safe haven
Challenge: Talk to the Splicer Servitor and complete Path of the Splicer 2 and defeat champions anywhere in the system. Bonus progress for champions defeated in Override.
All you have to do for this challenge is play Override on the Moon and follow the quest steps. Still, once you’ve done override for the week, there are strikes and other champion activities to complete this challenge.
Theseus Protocol
Challenge: Defeat the Minotaur boss in Override and defeat powerful Vex anywhere in the system. Defeated bonus progression for Vex when overwriting Expunge.
If you miss this challenge this week, you may be limited in time. The Minotaur boss appears at the end of the Moon Override mission, which seems to shift every week. Make sure to do this when the moon is available or you may have to wait.
Crack and decrypt 1
Challenge: Unlock Conflux Chests by completing Override Missions. Decipher the season of splicer engrams in the Prismatic Recaster. 15 Conflux Chests and 15 engrams.
In order to unlock the Conflux chests, you will need to hand out key codes at the end of Override. Just collect the aether you need beforehand and make a key in the glove. The 15 engrams that you need to focus on must be Season of the Splicer engrams for which you can output decrypted data in the HELM.
Auto rifle splicer
Challenge: Defeat fighters with auto rifles in Override. Earn bonus progress by defeating them quickly.
This search is as simple as possible. In Override, just keep using an automatic rifle until you finish the challenge.
Light moon rises
Challenge: Earn progress on the moon by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and lost sectors. 10 bounties.
Land on the moon and take as many bounties as you can hold. Just complete activities related to the moon until you complete the challenge. You may have to jump back to Eris for more repeatable bounties or wait for her daily bounties to return the next day.
Challenger’s Cipher
Challenge: Decipher Prime Engrams. A total of five.
This challenge is based on luck. Periodically, you will receive some prime engrams that will fall to the floor. Once you have deciphered five of these at Rahool, complete this challenge.
Mid-range calibration
Challenge: Calibrate the mean range – hand cannons, automatic rifles, fusion rifles, machine guns – on the moon. Bonus progress for defeating targets quickly.
If you’re playing Override this week, be sure to use the weapons listed above.
Dredgin ‘Up Victory
Challenge: Complete Gambit matches. Earn bonus advances for winnings.
All you have to do here is play the gambit. If you play well, you will complete this challenge even faster.
Iron sharpens iron
ChallengeMission: Complete the Iron Banner Matches. Earn bonus advances for winnings.
All you have to do to complete this challenge is play Iron Banner. The catch is that Iron Banner is only available for three or four weeks per season. You need to make sure to play Iron Banner when it is available if you want this challenge.
Anti-Cabal Sweep
Challenge: Defeat Cabal fighters in strikes. Earn bonus progress as you defeat tougher fighters.
You can find Cabal in all types of strikes such as Inverted Spire, Arms Dealer, and more. Just run the Strike playlist and you will complete this challenge. If you want to complete the challenge faster, wait for the Nightfall to include Cabal and increase the difficulty.
Make sure you have completed all of these and the rest of the Seasonal Challenges if you want to complete the Master of All challenge by August 24th, which is a big bright pile of dust rewards.
