Fate 2: Season of the Splicer’s Week 4 Seasonal Challenges arrived on June 1st and in this guide we are going to show you how to complete them all.
Some Season 14 Weekly Challenges are more complicated than the others. See the descriptions below for advice on the quickest way to complete these Seasonal Challenges – specifically the Draconic Protocol, Precision Calibration, and Vanguard selected in Season 14 – before they expire on August 24th.
provocation
Challenge: Talk to the Splicer Servitor and complete Path of the Splicer 4 and defeat champions anywhere in the system. Bonus progress for champions defeated in Override or Expunge.
All you have to do here is complete the weekly quest and then defeat champions. You will of course complete this quest after a few overwrites or you can take out some champions in the Glass Vault or at Nightfalls.
Draconic protocol
Challenge: Defeat the wyvern boss in Override and defeat powerful Vex anywhere in the system. Bonus progression for Vex defeated in Override or Expunge.
This quest is based on timing, which is the only difficult thing about it. You need to complete override when it’s on Europe which only happens every three weeks. Once you have defeated the boss on Europa, you will have to kill powerful Vex. We were able to get about 50% after a single override and expunge run.
Ethereal splicer
Challenge: Collect Ether by playing Strikes, Gambit, Crucible, Public Events and more.
This quest won’t give you an exact amount of Ether. All you have to do is play Destiny 2 in different ways and you will eventually decide which one is yours.
Fusion rifle splicer
Challenge: Defeat fighters with fusion rifles in Override or Expunge. Earn bonus progress by defeating them quickly.
All you have to do here is put on a fusion rifle and head into town. Unlike the previous weeks, this quest is pretty quick.
Hobbyist’s exams
Challenge: Unlock artifact mods. 12 in total.
All you have to do here is earn enough XP to unlock 12 mods for your artifact. You will of course do this during the season, but you can speed it up with bounties and challenges.
Delve the Candidate
ChallengeMission: Complete a lost sector on Legend or higher.
You can complete this challenge while looking for new exotic species. Simply complete the daily changing Legend or Master Lost Sector to complete this challenge.
Precision calibration
Challenge: Calibrate the sniper weapon – reconnaissance rifles, sniper rifles, and linear fusion rifles – by landing precise killing blows. Bonus progress against guards.
As with the other calibration challenges, simply equip one or two of the mentioned weapons and use them until you complete the challenge. The quest is faster in the Crucible, but only go this route if you are a good shot.
High quality hunter
Challenge: Defeat powerful fighters in Gambit. Earn bonus progress for defeating high quality targets.
As with most Gambit Challenges, all you have to do is play the Gambit. However, since you need powerful enemy kills, you can simply look for the high quality target spawn message whenever you want to make bonus progress.
Momentum crash
ChallengeMission: Defeat Guardians in Momentum Control. Earn bonus progress with Zone Advantage.
For this challenge, you’ll need to take part in Momentum Control, which will only be available every few weeks. Make sure to play this game mode when it finishes if you want to complete this challenge.
Vanguard chosen
Challenge: Complete a Twilight Strike on Hero difficulty or higher
You have to finish three Nightfalls for this one and you can master any difficulty as long as it is Hero or higher. If you’re planning on Grand Master Nightfalls this season, just wait for it. Otherwise, just jump into three quick Hero Nightfalls to finish this challenge. The best part about this challenge is that once you complete it, you will get a Nightfall weapon.
Make sure to complete all of these and the rest of the seasonal challenges if you want to complete the Master of All challenge by August 24th which rewards a big bright pile of dust.
