Each time, Desiny 2 you get some kind of holiday event. This past weekend, Bungie tried out a new event called Revelry. But this year, this studio is changing things with a different competition between its players: Guardian Games. The event runs from April 21 to May 12.
Guardian Games is a battle of three Destiny & # 39; s categories: Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks. Players will complete the trace, score points, take on Laurels, and turn in medals to get the best of the three.
At the start of the event, players will receive a class item depending on what they play – the Titans with the seal, the Warlocks responsible, and the Hunters in costume. Each day, the colors around these classroom objects will change depending on the current state of the classroom. If the Titans are in first place that day, the band around the mark will turn gold, the colors in other items of the class show their locations. At the end of the event, Bungie will put together the wins, and then the classroom material will lock in their positions throughout the year.
Of course, most Monitors know that classes are not exactly the same. Hunters are more common than other classes, which is Bungie has already spoken on its weekly blog. When players collect medals and turn them around to vote for the best category, votes will weigh less on them based on the number of players. The purpose is not to stack the hunters, but to give the Titans and Warlocks a victory.
The event also comes with four new Exotic items, all players can find outside the Eververse store. Holiday NPC, Eva Levante, offers a new quest for a special ghost each week. These new ghosts are separated into each category. Players can complete a weekly search for all three ghosts.
There's also a new Exotic weapon attached to Guardian Games. The Heir Apparent heavy machine gun will have some sort of quest tied to the event. We do not know much about guns, other than mines.
According to Ginsor, one of the leading miners of Destiny's public information, the gun is a masterpiece with Exotic, as well as decoration and art. The Hard Slug Thrower perk forces the weapon to use fire only when it is fully broken – perhaps by holding the divider for a few seconds. Armor of the Colossus perk creates an Arc shield around the user when shooting at full health. We have no information on whether Masterwork will add to any firearm or Heir Apparent will be available in the gameplay.
As with all holiday events, players can also purchase new jewelry items at the Eververse store. However, alongside Finisher, Bungie will sell all items in the form of Game Dust for game money during the event. Guardian Games bounties will also reward Blue Dust, so players can collect and purchase new cosmetics.
As of Tuesday, players have three weeks to find out which of the three main courses. And whoever wins will reign supreme until April 2021.
