Fate 2‘s Season of the Splicer is here, and the series’ original heist is being revived: The Vault of Glass. The Vault of Glass heist originally premiered in 2014 and comes with all of the mechanics people remember from the original, as well as some minor quality of life improvements. Above all, the glass vault is added most from its original arsenal too fate 2including fan favorite weapons like Fatebringer and Vision of Confluence.
While the vault of glass and its opening area do not appear in on Venus fate 2 By May 22nd, many files of the weapon are already in Season of the Splicer. Thanks to Database resources such as Light.ggNot only can we find out what the legendary raid weapons look like, but what potential perk roles they have.
Here’s everything we know about the Vault of Glass loot.

Vex Mythoclast
Vex Mythoclast is an exotic 360 RPM fusion rifle that does sun damage and uses primary ammunition.
The exotic perk of Vex Mythoclast is Timeless Mythoclast, which results in a single bolt being fired when players pull the trigger. As a 360 RPM rifle, it fires more like an auto rifle than a fusion rifle.
Its secondary perk is Temporal Unlimiter, which causes Guardians to charge overcharge fees when killing enemies. Players can then switch firing modes (likely by holding the reload button) to turn the Vex Mythoclast into a linear fusion rifle. In this mode, players will have to recharge shots, but they will likely do a lot more damage. Linear Fusion Rifles can usually kill enemy Guardians with a single headshot.
Vex Mythoclast also has an exotic catalyst that gives the weapon more stability when overloaded.
Timelost weapons
In addition to the Vault of Glass standard weapons, Light.gg also displays a Timelost version of each weapon. These weapons are optically silver, but identical in every other way to their basic versions.
It is likely that these Timelost weapons are actually the Adept versions of the Vault of Glass weapons. On a blog earlier this yearJoe Blackburn, assistant game director, said Adept versions of raid and dungeon gear would launch alongside Master Vault of Glass difficulty.
Adept Weapons for Strikes and Trials have special mod slots that players can use to directly increase a weapon’s stats. Timelost weapons will likely work very similarly.
Missing weapons
If you are an original fate Player, you may notice three missing weapons from the Fate 2 Version of the Vault of Glass: the Praedyth’s Timepiece Pulse Rifle, Atheon’s Epilogue Auto Rifle and Praetorian Foil Fusion Rifle.
As far as we know, these weapons will not appear in the Fate 2 Version of the vault made of glass. While it is possible that there was simply an issue with the API database, it seems more likely that Bungie cut the remaining guns.
These weapons could find their way into the game at some point, but will likely not be available on May 22nd.
