Doomed is a new Minecraft mod that turns it into Doom 2016

Doomed: Demons of the Nether is a new, free mod for Minecraft that transforms the entire blocky survival game into a surprisingly accurate-looking replica of the 2016 Downfall start anew, complete with shotguns and even a BFG.

The demons might try to hide in it Minecraft, but the Doomguy isn’t far behind.

the Guaranteed to fail mod was created by a developer, Sibogy

, and has been in development for over a year. Over on Sibogy’s YouTube channel, you will find loads of videos documenting the modder’s progress on this ambitious project. And now, after at least a year of work, Sibogy’s Mod is available for download and installation from today.

To get Guaranteed to fail work, you have to have Minecraft Java Edition installed on your PC. Then just follow the steps described on the mod website and when you do you will be ripping apart in no time.

The mod isn’t just a simple reskin from Minecraft, swaps the game’s cute textures for more grizzled ones Downfall Creations. Instead, the mod also includes brand new gameplay features and mechanics. You’ll need to manage the ammo for each of the weapons, can pick up splinters of armor for extra protection from damage, and much more. Sibogy even has tiny details of Downfall

(2016) also into the mod.Cacodemons, for example, swallow grenades when you throw them in your mouth, just like when restarting the FPS.

Back on Sibogy’s YouTube channel, you can find more gameplay videos of the mod in action, as well as videos showing the various weapons and demons that are included in it Doomed: Demons of the Nether.

Now the real question: Will the ambitious new one Downfall-thematic Minecraft get mod ported to hundreds of different devices in the next 20 years? Or will rats play it on Twitch one day, like classic Downfall? Probably not, but we’ll see.
