The original Life is strangefrom developer Don’t Nod, as an episodic, story-driven adventure game released by Square Enix in 2015. That was surprisingly almost a decade ago and I feel old remembering the previews and press screens of the game back then. But here we are, several sequels deep. Now a new studio is taking the helm of Don’t Nod. Developer Deck Nine Games, known for Life is Strange Remastered Collection And The Expanse: A Treacherous Series. However, the new developer unfortunately doesn’t have the same success as the original Don’t Nod titles.
At the time of this writing Life is Strange: Double Exposure has a “Mixed” rating on Steam. Most negative reviews of the game cite the lack of Chloe as the main reason for not enjoying the experience. Of course, most of the positive reviews also mention Chloe.
As for the negative reviews, we wouldn’t want to mention the Advanced Access edition of the game, which required players to spend more money to play Life is Strange: Double Exposure– a story-driven single-player game – a few days before its full release. Developers use this tactic to get a nice chunk of change out of the community, and many pay for it.
But let’s talk about the positive aspects, because Life is strange remains an exceptionally complex and compelling story that deserves attention and, for the most part, praise. The many positive reviews on Steam include the story, the facial expressions, the graphics and of course the characters themselves, like Max and Amanda. They remain fan favorites.
Whether you’re new to the franchise or a returning player looking for a conclusion to this long-running story, Life is Strange: Double Exposure offers a unique experience that fascinates most players from the start. Here’s a look at the latest Life is strange Game as described in the Steam reviews!
