Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm recently returned to social media with a cryptic chessboard post Weeks after allegations surfaced that he was banned from Twitch in 2020 for “sexting” a minor, the controversial YouTuber has now deleted his previous statement in which he admitted to having “inappropriate” contact with an underage user.

“I am not a fucking sex offender or a pedophile,” Beahm wrote in an X-Post (formerly Twitter) on June 25 regarding the allegations. He remained defiant in the face of growing criticism, but did not deny the underlying allegation that his infamous Twitch ban in June 2020 was due to messages he exchanged with a minor that “at times veered too far toward inappropriateness.” At the time, he stressed that “nothing illegal happened, no images were shared, no crimes were committed,” but called his past behavior “stupid.” As mentioned on Wednesday by esports/gaming interviewer Jake Lucky, the entire post has since been removed.

Instead, Beahm’s X-profile now jumps immediately from a June 24 Fire ring Stream announcement for his cryptic post from July 31 with an image of himself behind a chessboard, suggesting he would soon return to streaming in some form, although his YouTube channel with over 4 million subscribers was demonetized due to the allegations. At the time, Beahm argued in the comments with users who accused him of abusing minors.

Since a former Twitch employee first sparked a firestorm in June with renewed allegations of a “sexting” incident As a result of the once mysterious platform ban, Beahm lost sponsors and partnerships, including with the studio he co-founded. The leaders of Midnight Society, who are working on a shooter similar to those Beahm made popular, such as Call of Duty: Warzonerecently distanced themselves from the streamer, tell Bloomberg that they only teamed up with the Dr Disrespect brand to exploit his audience.

Before making his now-deleted confession, Beahm told fans on his last Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth Tree Stream that he would be taking an extended vacation. He had previously remained silent, apparently in part due to a 2022 settlement with Twitch in which he was reportedly paid the remainder of his seven-figure contract. Beahm could not immediately be reached for comment.
