There are many elden ring modifications. In fact, the popular modding target for PC games is Nexus Mods currently hosts 527 or so. But amidst all the ReShades, pretty face settings, and weapon reskins available, one of the most popular mods for FromSoftware’s latest hit is a simple mode created by modder Odashikonbu that gives your tainted the power to beat anyone.
Odashikon bus “Simple mode for elden ring” mod has been downloaded nearly 50,000 times since its debut on March 12, making it the fifth most popular of the Nexus elden ring mod at the time of writing – though The mods above are cheat tables and togglers. There are three versions of Easy Mode: Damage Edit Only, Damage Tweak + 10x Rune, and Odashikonbu’s Personal Edit. All three do many of the same things, like reducing damage taken by 50%, increasing your attack damage by 25%, and doubling both your hit box radius and the amount of health you restore from flasks. These are attractive customizations that will make even the toughest of enemies look like goofs.
Things get interesting when you dive into the “Personal Edit” version of odashikonbu that does elden ring a total no-brainer. Not only does it defuse enemies and pick up your Tainted, it also disables mechanics like spell FP costs and gear weight caps, while reducing the number of materials needed to power up weapons to one. There are some other cool things worth mentioning here and there, like the mod’s weapon scaling buffs, but even saying that isn’t enough the newly dismissed Starscourge Radahn might stop you if you use this.
For people looking for a more laid-back sojourn in the Lands Between, the only real bummer – or blessing, depending on how you look at it – is that the mod only works if you’re playing offline. That’s because you can only disable the game’s anti-cheat while playing offline, and you currently have to do this to use mods. Odashikonbu wrote in the description that their mod was designed so that “everyone [could] Have fun elden ring, [not] for cheating in online mode.”

What I find entertaining about this mod isn’t just that it overpowers your tainted in relation to everything else, although that sure is part of it. But I love that Odashikonbu’s mod is the complete opposite of Silentverge02.Prepare to die” Mod that might elden ring much more difficult. That elden ring Community really shows that it takes all types.
