We’re so used to video game delays that we now expect them twice during a global pandemic, but even video game sneakers are tossing their release dates out the window in 2021.

The new PlayStation 5 sneakers from Nike, a PG5 collaboration should Fall on May 27th (or May 17th if you were lucky enough to land an early couple). Now they will be released on June 17th.
No explanation was given for the delay, but with sneakers there are rare. In fact, you are often lucky enough to get a new release date at all, especially one as soon as it is as likely to be disappear into the void of the release schedule, never to be seen again, until they just happen … one day.
